Bud Hudson Youth Football

Since 1951, Bud Hudson Youth Football has given kids a chance to work hard and have fun playing football. 61 years later, Boys and Girls Club of Hopkinsville-Christian County is honored to continue the storied history of the Bud Hudson Youth Football. For kids ages 8 to 11, the league provides hands on education in structure, teamwork, and discipline while striving for excellence on the field. Boys & Girls Club is continuing the legacy of Bud Hudson by providing a positive environment to teach, play and learn the fundamentals of football while maintaining an important part of our town’s heritage.

Fall Tackle Practices per Week: 3 Maximum, 2hours per day maximum

Bud Hudson Youth Football recognizes the demands on families today. We love football and want very much for your child to love football. Football is time consuming and demanding. We simply hope that you will appreciate the restrictions we are placing on coaches and teams with regard to practice limits once the regular season begins. We must keep what we are doing in perspective. Teams comprised of young children do not need to practice as much as a varsity high school football team.

Partial & full scholarships are available to any child wanting to play Bud Hudson Youth Football. For more information, contact Boys & Girls Club at 270-887-4020.

Head and Assistant Coaching positions are available for both Spring Passing League and Fall Tackle League.
